GUNPOWDER Storage,—Continue-1,

and so on, increasing 6 cents per package for each 25 lb. of Gunpowder, up to and in excess of 100 b., according as the Gunpowder may be loose or in tins. Packages containing Safety Cartridges to be charged per 25 tb, weight, 6 cents a month, or fraction of a month; packages of detonators, 9 cents per 25 ft. weight, Cases or boxes of Percussion Caps to be charged six cents for twenty-five pounds

weight a month or fraction of a month.

The weight of the various packages will be determined at the time of storing, aud no

alteration will be allowed after they have been received into the Magazine.

The Government will not be responsible for damage by explosion, or by insufficient or

improper packing, and as wooden packages are liable to the attacks of white ants,

they should be tin-lined, and the lining should be intact.

Storage of Other Explusives :-

Nitro-Glycerine, or Glonoine Oil, Gun Cotton, Fulminating Mercury, Dynamite, Lithofructeur, Horsleys' Patent Blasting Powder, &c., &c.
