Requisition No 1 of 1856. Necessary repairs were made to this Building at an outlay of £29. The expenditure on this Head consists of repairs to the roof, and to the plastering of the walls and painting to the amount of £35 13s.10d.

Report and Estimate 21 of 1855. This road had been injured by various gales and heavy weather; the backing to the sea walls had been carried away in many places and some injury had accrued to the sea walls themselves. These damages were repaired as effectively as possible and the weak points were strengthened by the construction of groynes of rough stone; a large rock at West Point was removed and the ordinary general repairs on the whole distance as well as on the road round Hongnichung Valley were effected at an outlay of £138 9s.7d.
