Repairs to Furniture at Government House. Requisition No. 24 of 1855. A new writing table, a hat stand, new punkahs and new matting having been necessary, the carpets laid down and the curtains fixed; an expense was incurred to the amount of £31. 8. 2.
Repair of Wongneichung Chapel. Requisition No. 280 of 1855. Necessary repairs to the roof and painting and colouring were effected to this building for the sum of $12.70.
Repair of Police Station near the Western Market. Requisition No. 29 of 1856. New floor frames, window sashes and venetians were provided to replace those injured by a fire which destroyed the adjoining buildings, repairs...
