Rule 1 is amonded by deleliog "United Kingdom".
Section 20 is amended by deleting "United Kingdom".
Rule 2 is amended—
(a) in paragraph (1), in the defini- tion of "register", by deleting "United Kingdom" in both places where it appears; and
(b) 16 paragraph (3), by deleting "United Kingdom" in each placo where it appears.
Section 5(2) is amended--
(a) by inserting after "Patents Act
1949," the following-
"section 35 of the Patenta
Act 1977,"; and
(6) by deleting "United Kingdom" in the first place where it ap- pears.
