Amendment of Fit Scbedale

(a) by inserting after subsection (6) the following-
"(6A) In relation to any claim under item 6 of Part 1 of the First Schedule-
(a) subsections (4), (5) and (6) shall not apply:
(b) the Director may by notice in writtag to the claimant request bim to furnish further particulare of and in support of his claim or any item thereof within a period of 28 days from the date of the notice, or within such further period as the Director may in writing allow; (e) prior to the commencement of proceedings with the Lands Tribunal the Director may by notied in writing offer to the claimant such vum tinclusive or exclusive of costa) as the Crown is willing to pay in full and final settlement of the claim or any part thereof, as the case. may be"; and
(8) in subsection (8), by inserting after subsection | (4) the

principal Ordinance is amended by inserting. after "Rection 21(6)(2)", in each place where it occurs, the following-
"or 21(6AX:)".
Section 29 of the principal Ordinatice is amended by adding, after subsection (2), the following-
"(3) The Director of Public Works may in writing authorize any person, who is not a public officer, either generally or in any particular case to exercise any of the powers and functions conferred on him by section 21(4) or 21(6AX5) if he is satisfied that such person in qualified to exercise such powers and functions.".
7. Part 1 of the First Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended. in items 11 and 12 by inserting, after "stagës 1 to 4”, the following-
1978.
“and stage 6".
