9. The principal Ordinance is amended to the extent specified in the Schedule.
1. (1) The change of name of the Board effected by vinue of this Ordinance shall not affect any rights or obligations of the Board or render defective any legal proceedings by or against the Board, and any legal proceedings that might have been continued or commenced against it by its former name may be continued or commenced against if by its
new name
(2) In this section "the Board" means the body corporate catablished by section 5 of the principal Ordinance and koown prior to the com- mencement of this Ordinarice as the Board of Governors of the Hoog Kong Polytechnic; and "former osme" shall be construed accordingly.

Delete "Board" wherever it OCCUTS and substitule "Council".
