Ao Ordinance to achend the Electricity Supply Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof,
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Electricity Supply (Amend- Super due. ment) Ordinance 1976.
2 The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 3, Addition of the following new section-

3A (1) Where the Secretary for Housing is satisfied (Cap. 101.) that, having regard to its special circumstances, an area should be subject to special regulations to control the supply of electricity in that area he may, by nolics in the Gazene designate such an area as a special area for the purposes of this Ordinance.
(2) The Governor in Council may make regulations to provide for
(a) the control and regulation of the supply of
electricity in a special area;
(5) securing, so far as is practicable in the circum- stances, the safety of the public in respect of electricity, electric lines and works in a special area;
