An Ordinance to amend the Trustee Ordinance and to validate certain alterations of the memoranda of association of trust companies.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and con-
seat of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Trustee (Amendment and Shan, muk. Validation) Ordinance 1975.
2. Section 77 of the principal Ordinance is amended—
Amendmenu of pection 77.
(a) in subsection (4) by deleting "6" and substituting the tollowing- (Cap. 297
""; and
(b) by inserting after subsection (4) the following new subsection—
(Cup. 32)
"(5) Notwithstanding section 7 of the Companies Ordio- ance, a trust company to which subsection (4) applies may, within the period of § months referred to in that subsection, alter any condition contained in its memorandum of 8530- ciation to such extent as may be required to enable it to comply with the requirements of subsection (2)”.
