1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Companies (Amend. Short title ment) Ordinance 1974 and shall come into operation on the day and com appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazerre for the purposes of section 31B(1) of the Employment Ordinance.
2.
Section 265 of the principal Ordinance is amended (a) in subsection (1) by inserting after paragraph (c) the
following new paragraph-
"(ca) any severance payment payable to an employee under the Employment Ordinance, not exceed- ing in respect of each employee six thousand dollars:*:
