An Ordinance to amend the Public Order Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Order (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1972.
2. Section 33 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) in subsection (1) by deleting "liable on summary con- viction to a fine of five thousand dollars and to imprison- ment for two years." and substituting the following—
(12 of 1972.3
"sentenced on summary conviction to im- prisonment for not less than six months not more than three years or (subject to the provisions of the Detention Centres Ordin- ance 1972) to a detention order under that Ordinance.";
