An Ordinance to amend the Fatal Accidents Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Fatal Accidents (Amendment) Ordinance 1972.
2. Section 9 of the principal Ordinance is amended by adding after subsection (3) the following new subsection-
**INTI * 43. ection 43).
(4) In assessing damages payable to a widow in respect of the death of her husband in any action under this Ordinance or under the Carriage by Air (Overseas Territories) Order 1967 there shall not be taken into account the remarriage of the widow or her prospects of remarriage.".
