Amandment of Fourth Schedule.
5. Regulation 28 of the principal regulations is revoked and replaced by the following

28. The entire waters of the Colony are prescribed of guns, Ore for the purposes of subsection (7) of section 71 of the
Ordinance.".

6. Regulation 36 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (2) by deleting "regulation 27 or 28.".
7. The Fourth Schedule to the principal regulations is amended-
(a) in paragraph (4)—
(i) by inserting after "EXCEPT" the following-
"with the prior permission of the Director or", and (ii) by deleting sub-paragraph (ii); and
(b) in paragraph (b), by deleting sub-paragraph (); and
(c) by deleting paragraphs (c) and (d) and substituting the
following-
"(c) Naval Anchorage.

From a point on the northern shore of Hong Kong Island in position latitude 22° 17′ 03′′ north, longitude 114° 09′ 37′′ east, a straight line to a position in latitude 22° 17′ 14′′ north. longitude 114° 09′ 39.5" east, theuce a straight line to a position in latitude 22° 17′ 23′′ north, longitude [14° 09′ 49′′ east, a straight line to a position in latitude 22° 17′ 25′′ north, longitude 114° 10′ ILS" east, thence following the cir- cumference of a circle with radius 1,000 ft. from Naval No. 1 Buoy (laid in position 162° 2,880 ft. from Kowloon Railway Station Clock Tower) to a position in latitude 22° 17′ 05.2" north, longitude 114° 10′ 13" cast, thence a straight line to a position in latitude 22° 17' 03" north. longitude 114° 09′ 59′′ east, thence a straight line to a position on the northern shore of Hong Kong Island in position latitude 22° 16′ 55′′ north, longitude 114° 09′ 53.5" east.".

Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
These regulations make a number of amendments to the principal regulations.
The amendment to regulation 9 enables the Director of Marine to permit a vessel which is in a port to proceed at a spead greater than the appropriate speed prescribed by that regulation.
The amendment made by regulation 7(a)(1) of these regulations enables the Director to permit vessels to remain in quarantine anchorages for purposes not connected with quarantine.
The other amendments are of a revisionary character and delete certain obsolete provisions,
