ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE. (Chapter 220).
ROAD TRAFFIC (REGISTRATION AND LICENSING OF VEHICLES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1969.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3 and 4 of the Road Traffic Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic Citation and (Registration and Licensing of Vehicles) (Amendment) Regula- tions 1969, and shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.
2. Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (1) by-
(2) inserting after the definition of “registration book”, the
following-
**roadworthy" in relation to any motor vehicle means that the vehicle is suitable and safe for use for any of the purposes for which it may lawfully be used, having regard to the class or any division of the class of motor vehicle within which-
(a) application has been made to register the
vehicle; or
(b) the vehicle is registered.
as the case may be;";
(b) inserting, after the definition of "trade plate" the follow-
ing-
"vehicle testing centre" means a place designated under paragraph (3) of regulation 18A by the Commissioner as a vehicle testing centre;”.
3. Regulation 13 of the principal regulations is revoked and replaced by the following-
"Transfer
of motor vehicle ownership.
13. (1) On a transfer of ownership of a regis- tered motor vehicle the registered owner shall forth- with deliver to the new owner of the vehicle-
