TAI LAM ADDICTION TREATMENT CENTRE
ORDER 1969.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Drug Addiction Treatment Centres Ordinance 1968, the Governor has made the following order-
1. This order may be cited as the Tai Lam Addiction Treat- ment Centre Order 1969 and shall come into operation on the day appointed for the commencement of the Drug Addiction Treatment Centres Ordinance 1968.
2. The site and buildings situated at Tai Lam in the New Territories, and hitherto known as Tai Lam Prison, is appointed to be an addiction treatment centre and shall be known as Tai Lam Addiction Treatment Centre.

Explanatory Note,
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
These regulations make provision for~
(a) the administration of addiction treatment centres; and
(6) the control, welfare and discipline of persons detained in such
benires.
They also prescribe the Fornis to be used under the Drug Addiction Treatmeal Centes Ordinance 1968.
