8. Regulation 37 of the principal regulations is amended-
(a) in paragraph (2)—
(i) by deleting "or of any pleasure launch"; and
(ü) by deleting "or launch" wherever it appears; and
(b) in paragraph (3)—

() by deleting or any pleasure launch"; and (ii) by deleting "or launch".
Regulation 38 of the principal regulations is amended-
(a) in paragraph (1)—
(i) by deleting "or of any pleasure launch"; and (i) by deleting "or launch"; and
(b) in paragraph (4), by deleting "or pleasure launch".
10. Regulation 48 of the principal regulations is attended in
paragraph (1) by deleting "(including-a-pleasure launch)"/

(Thir Note is not part of the regulations, bur is intended to indicate their general purport).
Part VII (regulations 30 to 36) of the principal regulations, which provides for the registration of pleasure launches and the issue of local certificates of competency, in revoked (regulation 7). These matters are now provided for in the Merchant Shipping (Plonsure Vessels) Regulations 1970.
Regulations 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 make formal amendments of the principal regulations consequential upon the revocation of Part VIL
