LANDLORD AND TENANT ORDINANCE. (Chapter 255).
TENANCY TRIBUNAL (AMENDMENT) RULES 1968.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Landlord and Tenant Ordinance, the Acting Chief Justice bas made the following rules-
1. These rules may be cited as the Tenancy Tribunal (Amendment) Rules 1968.
Citation.
1. Rule 49 of the principal rules is amended by deleting Amendment of paragraph (3) and substituting therefor the following-
(Cap. 136. Wh. kr.)
"(3) Subject to the provisions of paragraphs (4), (5) and (6)-
(a) where the annual rent of the premises form- ing the subject matter of an application for exemption does not exceed five thousand dollars such costs shall be taxed in accord- ance with the provisions of Scale II, III or IV of the District Court Civil Procedure (Costs) Rules:
(b) where such annual rent exceeds five thousand dollars but does not exceed ten thousand dollars such costs shall be taxed in accord- ance with Scale V of the District Court Civil Procedure (Costs) Rules; and
(c) where such annual rent exceeds ten thousand dollars such costs shall be taxed in accord- ance with the provisions of Order 62 of the Rules of the Supreme Court 1967.”.

These rules amend rule 49 of the principal rules in respect of the taxing of costs of matters brought before the Tenancy Tribunal. This amondment is made consequential to the 1966 amendment of the Scales of Coats prescribed in the First Schedule to the District Court Civil Procedure (Costs) Rules,
