ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE.
(Chapter 220).
ROAD TRAFFIC (INTERNATIONAL CIRCULATION)
(AMENDMENT) RÉGULATIONS 1967.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section SA of the Road Traffic Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations.
1. These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Inter Citation.
|| national Circulation) (Amendment) Regulations 1967.
Amendment of
2. Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is amended by inserting in paragraph (1), after the definition of "registration regulation 2. authority", the following definition-
""visitor" means any person who satisfies the Authority that he will be staying in the Colony for a period not exceeding one year from the date of his arrival in the Colonys".

Amendment of
3. Regulation 5 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (1) by deleting "person resident outside the Colony" and regulation 3. substituting therefor the following-
"Visitor".
4. Regulation 7 of the principal regulations is amended- (4) in paragraph (1) by deleting "person making only a temporary stay in the Colony" and substituting therefor the following-
"visitor"; and
(b) by deleling paragraph (5) and substituting therefor the
following-
*(5) An international circulation permit shall not be granted for any period exceeding one year from the date on which the motor vehicle was last brought into the Colony.".
5. Regulation 9 of the principal regulations is amended by inserting, after paragraph (3), the following new paragraph-
"(4) The holder of an international circulation permit shall, if he leaves the Colony before the expiration of the permit or before the exportation of his vehicle, surrender the permit to a registration authority and thereupon the permit shall cease to be valid.".
