Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
Section 3 of the Motor Vehicles (First Registration Tax) Ordinance imposes a tax on the first registration of certain motor vehicles in the Colony, the tax being calculated on the value of the vehicle. In calcula- ting the value of a vehicle for this purpose, sections 4()Xc) and (d) allow depreciation in respect of certain vehicles other than new vehicles, at such rate and in such mander as may be prescribed. These regulations prescribe the rate and manner of such depreciation.

RESETTLEMENT (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 1967,
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 51 of the Resettlement Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations........
1. These regulations may be cited as the Resettlement (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1967.

* Part I of the Second Schedule to the principal regulations is amended by inserting the following at the end of sub-head (b) Part I. Second of inem 4. in the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh columns and as shown hereunder-
