(2) If on the trial of an indictment for murder or manslaughter it is proved that the accused aided, abetted, counselled or procured the suicide of the person ia question, the jury may find him guilty of the offence so proved.

(3) No proceedings shall be instituted for an offence under this section except with the consent of the Attorney General".

An Ordinance to amend further the Widows and Orphans Pension

Ordinance.

[1st December, 1967.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Widows and Orphans Short title.

Pension (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1967.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ondinance is amended—–

(a) by deleting the definition of "child" and substituting the

following-

A CA

"child" means-

(a) a child of an officer by his wife, born after

marriage:
