Amendment of section 104.

Amendment of

the same manner as property seized under section 102" and sub- stituting the following→→

"and the same may be dealt with under section 102 as though it were property to which paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of that section applies.".

6. Section 104 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "102 ar".

Section 49 of the Magistrates Ordinance is repealed.

An Ordinance to amend the Offences against the Person Ordinance.

[1st December, 1967.]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Offences against the Short title.

Person (Amendment) Ordinance 1967.

Ž The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 33 the following new heading and sections-

Suicide to cease to he & crime.

"SUICIDE.

33A. The rule of law whereby it is a crime for

a person to commit suicide is hereby abrogated.

33B. (1) A person who aids, abets, counsels or procures the suicide of another, or an attempt by another to commit suicide, shall be guilty of felony and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for fourteen years.
