PRISON (AMENDMENT) RULES 1966.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Prisons Ordinance 1954, the Governor in Council has made the following rules--
1. These rules may be cited as the Prison (Amendment) Rules Cluation
Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
These regulations amend the Telecommunication Regulations 1962 (herato after referred to as the principal regulations) as follows-
(1) Regulation 2 provides for the deletion from paragraph (3) of regulation 2 of the principal regulations of the words “and shall not be renewable" which were considered ambiguous.
(2) The new regulation 6A contained in regulation 3 is self-explanatory. (Where no fee is otherwise prescribed a fee of five dollars would be payable for the amendment of a licence by virtue of section 3(2) d the Official Signatures Fees Ordinance (Cap. 88)).
(3) The amendment made by regulation 4 to item 21 of the First Scheduk to the principal regulations is consequential on the change of heading of the licence, mentioned in that iteat, which is made by paragraph (7 of regulation 5.
(4) Regulation $ ammends the forms of licences which are contained in the
Fourth Schedule to the principal regulations.

2. The Prison Rules 1954 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Amendment nda) are amended by-

(a) the deletion of the headings "(c) Other Officers.""" and "()) (17 of 1954,
Schedule). Assistant Chief Officer." before rule 122;
(b) the deletion of the heading "(ii) Principal Officers." before
rule 124 and the substitution therefor of the following-
"(c) Subordinate Officers.";
(c) the deletion of the heading "(iii) Subordinate Officers." before
rule 132;
(4) the deletion of the heading "(fi) Hospital Chief Officer." before
rule 160 and the substitution therefor of the following-
"(D) Chief Officer on Hospital Duries.";
(e) the deletion of the heading "(iii) Hospital Assistant Chief Officer and Hospital Principal Officer." before rule 163 and the substitution therefor of the following-
"Principal Officers on Hospital Duties.":
{f} the deletion of the heading "(iv) Other Hospital Staff." before
rule 164 and the substitution therefor of the following-
"Other Staff on Hospital Duties."; and
()the deletion of the headings " Fernate Staff." and "()
