QUARANTINE AND PREVENTION OF DISEASE ORDINANCE.

PREVENTION OF THE SPREAD OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES (HEI LING CHAU) ISOLATION ORDER 1965.
In exercise of the powers conferred by regulation 23A of the Prevention of the Spread of Infectious Diseases Regulations 1955, the Director of Medical and Health Services has made the following Order-
1. This Order may be cited as the Prevention of the Spread of Citation Infectious Diseases (Hei Ling Chau) Isolation Order 1965, and shall and com come into operation on the day appointed for the commencement of the Lepers (Repeal) Ordinance 1965.

3. Regulation 238 of the Regulations shall have effect in relation Restriction

(a) any visitor appointed under paragraph 4:
(b) any police officer or other public servant on duty and any other police officer or other public servant whether on duty or otherwise who is stationed at the Police Post situated on Hei Ling Chau; or
(c) any other person to whom express permission has been granted by the medical officer in charge of the Hei Ling Chau Isolation Area.
DI MOVEMENT
4. (1) The Colonial Secretary may appoint visitors for the Hei Visitors. Ling Chau Isolation Area.
(2) Two or more visitors appointed under sub-paragraph (1) shall, once at least in every three months, together inspect the Hei Ling Chau Isolation Area, and shall see as far as circumstances permit every person restricted there, and shall enter into a book kept for that purpose any remarks which they may deem proper in regard to the management and condition of the Hei Ling Chau Isolation Area and the persons restricted there.
