9. Notwithstanding section 3, section 8 of the principal Ordinance shall continue in force in relation to any resolution for altering the pro- visions of a company's memorandum with respect to the objects of the company passed before the commencement of ibis Ordinance.
This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the 13th day of February, 1963, and is found by me to be a true and correctly printed copy of the said Bill.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows---
I. This Ordinance may be cited as the Road Traffic (Amendment) Short vide Ordinance, 1963, and shall be deemed to have come into operation upon and com- the commencement of the Road Traffic Ordinance, 1957.
