REGISTRATION OF PERSONS (CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION
AND IDENTITY Cards) (No. 3) ORDER, 1962.
In exercise of the powers conferred by provisos (vi) and (vii) to section 10 of the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1960, the Governor bas made the following Order—
1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Persons Citation. (Cancellation of Registration and Identity Cards) (No. 3) Order. 1962,
and identity
2. Any person affected by the Order specified in the Schedule Cancellation shall with effect from the 3rd day of September, 1962, cease to be of registration deemed to be registered under the provisions of the Registration of cards in Persons Ordinance. 1960 and any identity card held by such persons certain cases. shall with effect from such date cease to be deemed to have been issued (18 of 1960). under the provisions of that Ordinance.

(This Note is not part of the Order, but is intended to indicate its general purport),
This Order affects only those persons who were in possession of old identity ards issued under the Registration of Persons Ordinance. Chapter 177, repealed by the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1960, in the following series-
135,001 to 155,000
and who bave failed by the 3rd day of September, 1962, to have re-registered in ompliance with the appropriate Order specified in the Schedule. The effect of the Order will be to render any old identity card in possession of any such Person invalid and to cause him to become an unregistered person with effect from the said date.
