The principal purpose of these regulations is to increase fees payable under the Road Traffic (Registration and Licensing of Vehicles) Regulations, 196 By regulation 14 à number of fees set forth in the Third Schedule to de principal regulations are amended and by regulations 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12 other fees in the body of the regulations are amended. The opportunity hes beco taken to make a number of other minor amendments to the principal regulations. By regulation 3, a new regulation 4A is added to enable a con struction site vehicle to be moved on a road even though the vehicle is registered or licensed. By regulation 9, paragraph (5) of regulation 18, the effect of which is now speal, is deleted. By regulation 13, regulation 43 of the principal regulations, the effect of which is spent, is revoked.
