An Ordinance to remove doubt concerning the validity of the Vehicle
and Road Traffic (Parking and Waiting) Regulations, 1958.

WHEREAS the Vehicle and Road Traffic (Parking and Waiting) Preamble, Regulations, 1958, are expressed to be made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Road Traffic Ordinance, 1957:
AND WHEREAS the said regulations should have been expressed to be made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the said Ordinance:
AND WHEREAS doubt has arisen as to the effect of this error on the validity of the said regulations:
AND WHEREAS it is desirable to remove such doubt:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong. with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as
follows:
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Vehicle and Road Traffic Short title. Parking and Waiting) Regulations, 1958, Validation Ordinance, 1959.
