For the purposes of section 24 of the Ordinance-
(a) the prescribed particulars shall be those contained in the

(b) an alien shall supply two photographs of himself of the dimensions commonly used for passports and of a quality that the Registrar of Aliens shall approve :

A record as in Form 1 in the Third Schedule is hereby prescribed for the purposes of subsection (1) of section a6 of the with aliens. Ordinance and the return for the purposes of subsection (2) thereof shall be as in Form 2 in the Third Schedule and shall consist of a true copy of the entries from time to time kept in such record.

8. The fees in the Fourth Schedule are hereby prescribed for the respective documents therein enumerated :
Provided that in the case of visas granted to nationals of states which grant to citizens of the United Kingdom and Colonies visas at rates not equivalent to the rates hereinbefore prescribed, the fees shall be those applicable in the United Kingdom and shall be converted to Hong Kong currency at the rate of eighty cents to one English shilling.
9. The Immigration Officer may, upon payment of the prescribed fees, issue to any person, for the purposes of travel in respect of any proposed journey to or from the Colony and for his identification upon such journey, a certificate of identity or an emergency certificate.
10. (1) The Immigration Officer may issue to any person an entry permit and, in any case in which he decides so to do, such permit shall be issued free of charge to persons in transit through the Colony and to others on payment of the prescribed fee.
(2) The issue of an entry permit may be effected by stamping a travel document and by inserting therein the period during which such permit shall be valid and any condition which the Immigra- tion Officer may lawfully impose.
11. The Immigration Officer may, upon payment of the prescribed [ec, issue a certificate of identity to alien residents to enable them to prove their identity within the Colony.

12. The Immigration Officer may, upon payment of the Power prescribed fee, issue to any person a frontier pass which shall be frontier sufficient authority within the Colony for such person to cross and passes. re-cross the land frontier of the Colony and the limits of its terri- torial waters as may be specified in such pass.

13. (0) The Immigration Officer may, upon payment of the Power prescribed fee, issue to any person a re-entry permit as in the re-entry form in the Fifth Schedule which shall be valid for such period permits. not exceeding twelve months as may be specified thereon.

(2) Such re-entry permit shall be sufficient authority within the Colony for the person described therein to re-enter the Colony on any number of occasions during the period of the validity of such permit.

14. The forms in the Sixth Schedule with such modifications Forms. as the Immigration Officer may in any particular cases or any Sixth class of cases deem necessary shall be used for-
(e) certificates of identity and emergency certificates issued
under regulation 9;
(b) certificates of identity for alien residents issued under
regulation 11; and
(c) frontier passes issued under regulation 12.
