(2) A copy of every order made under paragraph (1) shall be posted in a conspicuous place within the precincts of the swim- ming pool.

12. Any person who obstructs or resists any authorized attendant in the exercise of his duty or who fails to comply with any reasonable direction given by such attendant for the purpose of giving effect to any of the provisions of any of these by-laws or any order made under by-law 1, shall be guilty of an offence, and shall be liable to a fine of fifty dollars.

13. (1) Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of by-law 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of two hundred and fifty dollars."

(a) Any person who contravenes any of the requirements of any order issued under by-law r11 shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of fifty dollars.

(3) In addition to any penalty prescribed by this by-law any person contravening any of the by-laws mentioned in paragraph (1) or any order mentioned in paragraph (2) may be ordered by any authorized attendant of the swimming pool forthwith to leave the precincts thereof and, in the event of failure to comply with such direction, he may be removed, if need be, by force.

Explanatory Note.

(Thie Note is not part of the by-laws, but is intended to indicate their general purport).

These by-laws are decessary for the proper management and control of the new Government swimming pool to be known as Victoria Pork Swimming Pool and which will be under the management of the Urban Council.

2. Discretion in the Council to waive or reduce fees in the case of organized parties of young persons has been inserted in paragraph (2) of by-law 10 in order to meet the wishes of the Hong Kong Jackey Club, the donor of the funds with which the swimming pool has been built, by extending the facilities of the pools to children and young persons of small meatus.
