SWIMMING POOLS (AMENDMENT) BY-LAWS, 1957.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council has made the following by-laws-

1. These by-laws may be cited as the Swimming Pools Citation. (Amendment) By-laws, 1957.

2. By-law 15 of the Swimming Pools By-laws is amended Amendment by the deletion of the full stop at the end and the substitution 16. therefor of the following-

"or by the Government of Hong_Kong." Made by the Urban Council this 3rd day September, 1957.

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the by-laws, but is intended to indicate their general purport).

This proposed amendment to the Swimming Poola By-laws la con- sequential upon the enactment of the Victoria Park Swimming Pool By-laws and is designed to remove the implication raised by by-law 15 of the Swimming Pools By-laws that those by-laws are binding on the Crown in relation to the new Victoria Park Swimming Pool.
