3. Section to of the principal Ordinance is amended by the deletion therefrom of the words "and the Land Officer shall make a note thereof in the register relating to any parcel of land which appears to him to be affected thereby.", and the substitution therefor of the following-
4.
"and shall be available for inspection without payment of any fee. The Land Officer shall cause to be posted and prominently displayed in the Land Office notices in English and Chinese directing attention thereto.".
Section 11 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the section 11. deletion therefrom of the final sentence. C

An Ordinance to amend the law relating to reclamations and other works of a public nature over and upon Crown fore- shore and seabed,

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Reclamations Short title. and Works Ordinance, 1955.
2. (1) Notification of every proposed reclamation or other Notification works of a public nature over and upon Crown foreshore and sea- of prapased bed or Crown land covered with water in any tidal river or channel wakings. connected with the waters of the Colony (hereinafter referred to
as an undertaking) shall be published-
(4) in three issues of the Gaselle; and
(b) in three issues of at least one English language and two
Chinese language daily newspapers; and
