Explanatory Note.
(This note is not part of the by-laws, but fa intended to
indicate their general purport).
It is no longer desired that Public Bath-House Licences and the applications therefor should be in the standard form required by By-laws 5 and 6 and the Appendix. These By-laws are in consequence repealed, and By-law 2 is amended to preserve the Council's right to impose conditions.

HAWKERS ORDINANCE. (Chapter 157).
HAWRERS (Amendment) (No. a) By-Laws, 1955.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Hawkers Ordinance, the Urban Council has made the following by-laws--
1, These by-laws may be cited as the Hawkers (Amend- Citation. ment) (No. 2) By-laws, 1955-
1. The Summary of Contents of the Hawkers By-laws Amendment. (hereinafter referred to as the principal by-laws) is amended by Summary

(a) the deletion therefrom under the heading "SPECIAL of the
BY-LAWS" of paragraph (c) and the substitution principal therefor of the following-
"(CA) Class 3A-Pedlar hawkers;
(cB) Class 3B.-Bathing Beach Pedlar hawkers;";
(b) the deletion of the words "Pedlar hawkers and” wherever
they occur under the heading "APPENDIX II. Licence Fees" and the substitution therefor of the following-
"Pedlar hawkers, Bathing Beach Pedlar hawkers and".
3. By-law 3 under the heading "GENERAL BY-LAWS FOR ALL CLASSES OF HAWKERS" of the principal by-laws is amended by
(2) the substitution of the word "nine" for the word "eight"
in the first line;
(b) the deletion of paragraph (c) and the substitution therefor
of the following-
"(cA) Class 3A.-Pedlar hawkers;
(B) Class 3B.-Bathing Beach Pedlar hawkers;"'.
