Amendment

by-laws is amended by-

(a) the deletion of-

(i) the figure "3" wherever it occurs in paragraph (1)

and the substitution therefor of the following-

(ii) the word "for" between the word "and" and the word and symbols "Class 4B" in the last sentence thereof;

By-law 8 under the heading "GENERAL BY-LAWS of by-law 8 FOR ALL CLASSES OF HAWKERS" of the principal

by-laws is amended by-

(a) the insertion between the words "Pedlar hawker's licence" and the word "or" wherever they occur in paragraph (1) of the following-

"or a Bathing Beach Pedlar hawker's licence" ; (b) the addition at the end of paragraph (2) of the

following-

"Bathing Beach Pedlar hawker's licences shall expire on the 31st day of March of each year.";

(c) the deletion of paragraph (3) and the substitution therefor

of the following-

"(3) Unless the Council in its absolute dis- cretion shall otherwise direct--

(4) licences shall be renewed at their expiry by endorsement thereon upon payment of the appropriate annual licence fee; and

(b) licences not so renewed may likewise be renewed within twelve weeks thereafter, during the last six weeks of which a surcharge of ten per cent of the annual licence fee shall be imposed.".

6. By-law 20 under the heading "GENERAL BY-LAWS Amendment FOR ALL CLASSES OF HAWKERS" of the principal of by-law by-laws is amended by-

1. The form of licence for a Bathing Beach Beach Pedlar hawker is Form 30 in Appendix I. Before a Hawkers” licence is issued the Council shall clearly indicate on the licence the commodities which may be sold by the licensee.
