BY His EXCELLENCE ROBERT BROWN BLACK, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admita! of the same.
WHEREAS by section of the Mining Ordinance, 1954 (Ordinance No. 33 of 1954), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by proclamation in the Gazette.
NOW THEREFORE I, ROBERT BROWN BLACK, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 15th day of October, 1954.
