EXCELLENCY SIR ALEXANDER WILLIAM GEORGE HERDER GRANTHAM, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.

WHEREAS by section of the Trade Marks Ordinance, 1954 (Ordinance No. 47 of 1954), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by proclamation in the Gazette;

NOW THEREFORE I, ALEXANDER WILLIAM GEORGE HERDER GRANTHAM, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 1st day of January,

1955.
