REVISED EDITION OF THE LAWS ORDINANCE, 1948.
(under authority of section g)
In exercise of the powers conferred by the enactments shown in the first column of the Schedule hereto annexed, the Governor in Council amends the regulations made under the said enactments a the manner shown in the second column of the Schedule.
The said amendments shall be incorporated and printed in he revised edition of subsidiary legislation prepared under the Revised Edition of the Laws Ordinance, 1948, No. 20 of 1948, hereinafter referred to as the Ordinance, and if not already in force by virtue of some other enactment shall come into force on the date on which approval of the revised edition of subsidiary kegislation is notified by proclamation of the Governor under sation 1t of the Ordinance.

The regulations contained in the First Schedule to the Forestry Ordinance, 1937. are amended by the addition after regulation to of the following-
“11. (1) Any person who acts in con- travention of regulation shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine of two hundred and fifty dollars.
(2) It shall be lawful for a magistrate to forfeit any severed plant or portion of a plant with regard to which any contravention of regulation shall have been committed."
