Branch
The Honourable Chau Tsun Min, C.B.5. to move the following
resolution :-
WHEREAS Clause IV(a) of the Constitution of the Commonwealth
Parliamentary Association provides that a legislature of any part of the Commonwealth with a linjority of Unofficial Mentors may form an Affiliated Branch of the Association with the concurrence of the Executive Committee of the Main Branch of the nation concerned, and with the concurrence of the General Council; and such Affiliated Branch shall be affiliated both to the Main Beach wad to the asociation through the General Council of the Association and thut id cases where a legislature has not reached a stage which, in the view of the Executive Committee of the linin Branch of the nation concerned, would justify affiliation to the asociation through the General Council, such legislature may affiliate with the appropriate Main Branch, with its consont, for the purpose of friendly intercourse and thereupon such legislature shall be a Subsidiary Branch of the Main Branch and the Main Branch shall be its Parent Branch,
