MODIFICATION) (NO. 1) ORDER, 1948.
THE DEFENCE (FINANCE) REGULATIONS, 1940.
In pursuance of regulation 1(B) of the Defence (Finance) Regulations, 10, which have effect by virtue of the Defence Regulations (Continuation and Rodification) (No. 1) Order, 1948, the Governor has made the following under
ORDER.
1. This order may be cited as the Possession of Gold (Registered Dentista) Order, 1949.
2. For the purposes of this order "Dentist" means any person who is registered as a Dentist under the Registration of Dentists Ordinance, No. 1 of 1940.
3. Permission is hereby granted to any Registered Dentist if and so long as he complies with the conditions hereby imposed to possess gold of a Bineness of 95% or of a higher percentage and whether made into the form of articles or not, of a quantity not exceeding in the aggregate 10 troy
The gold shall be used solely for professional purposes.

Explanatory Note: The possession of gold made into articles (other on gold coins) of a fineness less than 95% is not subject to any restriction ander the Defence Finance Regulations.
