THE PUBLIC ORDER ORDINANCE, 1948.

Order by the Governor

(Under section 9 of the Ordinance).

In exercise of the powers vested in him by section 9 of the Public Order Ordinance, 1948, His Excellency the Governor has made the following Order:

()EDER.

1. This Order may he cited as the Public Order (Curfew) Citation. Order, 1949.

2. Every person being within the area specified in the Persons to Schedule to this Order shall remain within doors between the houra semain of 22 hours (10 p.m.) and 6 hours (6 a.m.) unless any such person within hours ia in possession of a permit in writing issued by the Commissioner and area

of Police or issued by some person duly authorised by the specified. Commissioner of Police to issue such perniit to allow any such person to be or remain out of doors within any such area and during the hours specified in this Order.

SCHEDULE.

All that area situate in the New Territories having boundary with commencing point on the West at the mouth of the Shum Chun River and thence extending Eastwards along the Sino-British Frontier to Sha Tau Kok at the Eastern extremity of the said Frontier thenre extending South-Westwards along the Southern edge of the Sho Tou Kok-Fanling cross-roads motor rood to Fanling cross-roads thence Westwards along the Northern edge of the main Fauling rond from Fanling cross-roads to Mai Po Village thence along the main road extending due South to the road bridge crossing the creek at Au Tau theare along the North Eastern bank of the said crack to its junction with Deep Bay thence Northwards along the high-water mark on the shore of Deep Bay to the said point of commencement at the mouth of the Shuto Chun River.
