APPENDIX A.
LATRINES AND DRINALS IN SCHOOLS OTHER THAN BOARDING SCHOOLS,
1. For lutrines and urinals connected to a flush system the requirements shall be: ་
(a) For boys-
One pan and one urinal for every 50 pupils. Where urinala are not provided one pan shall be provided for every 35 pupila.

One pan for every 35 pupils.
For latrines and urinals not conuected to a fush system
the requirements shall be-
(a) For boys-
One pao`and two urinala for every 35 pupils.
(2) For girla
One pan for every 25 pupila.

1. For latrines and urinals connected to a flush system the requirements shall be:-

One pan for every 20 boarders.
For latrines and urinals not connected to a flush system the requirements shall be

One pan for every five boarders and one urinal for

One pan for every five boarders.
Nors: For the purpose of these Appendices, "urinal" means a separute urinal vessel or a trough not less than 18 inches long.
TRADING WITH THE ENEMY ORDINANCE, 1914. Order by the Governor
(uuder section 2A of the Ordinance).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, 1914, (hereinafter referred to as
the Ordinance") His Excellency the Governor makes the following Order :-
1. This Order may be cited as the Trading with the Enemy Citation, (Authorisation) (Japan) Order, 1949, and shall come into forec on the 22nd day of April, 1949.

Notwithstanding anything contained in section 4 of the Licence to Ordinance, nuy person, unless the Governor otherwise directs, may, Харал except as provided in paragraph 3 hereof, carry on the business of insurance or re-insurance with the Japanese state, or with any individual resident or carrying on business in Japan or with any body of persons (whether corporate or unincorporate) carrying on business in or constituted or incorporated in or under the laws of Гарад.
3. This licence shall not extend to or authorise the transmia- Limitadou sion to any person in Japan of any money, negotiable instrument of licence. or security for money arising out of any contract of insurance or re-insurance entered into before the date of this Order.
4. For the purposes of this Order "*insurance" and "Lowrance" **re-insurance shall include-
(a) transactions incidental thereto; and
(b) except as provided in paragraph 3 hereof the paying, transmitting or receiving of any money, negotiable instrument or security for money in respect of such insurance,
and "re-
insurance** defined.
5. For the purposes of this Order "Japan" means all **Japan" territory which was under Japanese sovereiguty on 7th December, defined. 1941.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order, which provides additional authority to that contained in the Trading with the Enemy (Authorisation) (Japan) Order, 1947, (published in the Gazette on 8th August, 1947, G.N. No. 631) authorises any person to carry on the business of insurance or re-insurance with the Japanese state and with persons in Japan, subject to the prohibition of the transmission to Japao of any money, negotiable instrument or security for money arising out of any contract entered into before the date of this Order.
