An Ordinance to amend the Pawnbrokers Ordinance, 1930.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof;
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Pawnbrokers Amend- Short title, ment Ordinance, 1948, and shall be read an ono with the Pawnbrokers Ordinance, 1930, hereinafter referred to as the Ordinance principal Ordinance.

2. Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is hereby nomended Amendment by the addition of the following paragraph after paragraph (2) — of section 3
(e) for prescribing the periods referred to in section principal 16 bereof ".

3. Section 16 of the principal Ordinance as amended by the Repeal and Pawnbrokers Amendment Ordinance, 1946, is hereby repealed and replacement replaced by the following section :-
