Section 20 of the principal Ordinance as amended by the Amendment Pawnbrokers Amendment Ordinance, 1946, is hereby amended- of the
(a) by the substitution of the word prescribed

5. (1) The Regulations made under the principal Ordinance Regulation as contained in Volume III of Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 to pribed Edition) are hereby amended by the addition of the following arid to be immediately prior to the heading "Formus " at page 1096 of the have been said Volume
"Prescribed periods for redemption.
The prescribed periods for the purposes of acction 16 shall be six months from the day of making the loan in the case of goods pawned in any part of the New Territories other than New Kowloon and four months from the day of making the loan in the case of goods pawned elsewhere in the Colony."
(2) The amendment aforesaid shall be deemed to have been lawfully made and to be revocable or subject to amendment in like manner as if it had boon duly made by the Governor in Council under section 3 of the principal Ordinance as amended by this Ordinance.
