MAINTENANCE ORDERS (FACILITIES FOR ENFORCEMENT)
ORDINANCE, 1921.
By His Excellency Sir REGINALD EDWARD STUBBS Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Comniander-iu- Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same :
Whereas it is provided by section 19 of the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordiosuce 1921 that where the Governor is satisfied that reciprocal provisions have been made by the legislature of any British possession for the enforce- inent within such possession of maintenance orders made by Courts in Hongkong the Governor may by Proclamation extend the Maintenance Order (Facilities for Euforce- ment) Ordinance 1921 to maintenance orders made by courts within such possession and that thereupon the said Ordinance shall apply to such maintenance orders as if they had been made in England or Ireland;
And whereas I am satisfied that such reciprocal provisions have been made by the legislature of Bermuda
Now therefore I Sir REOBALD EDWARD STUBBS Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in- Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same do hereby by this Proclamation extend the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinanco 1921 to maintouance orders roada by courts in Berunuda.
