By His Excellency FRANCIS HESEr May, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, the Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Hongkong mel its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same,
Whereas, by Regulation No. 1 of the Quinntire Regulations made by the Governor in Contesil on the 17th day of Fine, 1901, under section 25 of Ordinance No. 26 of 1891, it is provided that the terul port of place at which any infectious or contagious disease prevailed" menis a port or plate prochined to be such by Order of the Governor in Comicil, published in the Gazette, from the date of *ch Prelaunction :

And wheres the said Quorentine Regulations were duly notified to nike effect as from the 20th Play of June, 1901;
And whereas His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government in Council Jus ordered alau Amoy should be practiced as a port or place at which an infectious or contagious disease prevails:
Now, therefore, I, Frascis Hexey May, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Sunt George, the Officer Administering the Government and Comraander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice Admiral of the same, do hereby, with the ulvice of the Executive Connell, proclaim that Amy is a part or place at which an infections or contagions disease prevails.
