Exemption from, or remission of, fees is gained by:
(1) Government internal scholars,
(2) Government external scholars,
(3) Donor scholars,
(4) A few students who are children of deceased civil servants.

C. Aided Schools.
There were no hard and fast rules regarding exemption from fees. In cases of poverty, partial or total exemption was given at the discretion of the principals. The percentage of total exemptions in individual schools ranged from 0.3% to 23% and of partial (half or more) exemption from 1.5% to 37%.
