130. Traffic Signs, etc. :-For motor traffic purposes, the erection of motor signs and repainting of white guide lines were carried out. At the request of the Honourable Commissioner of Police, eighteen traffic signs and seven notice boards were erected in the New Territories.
Underground cables and controllers for new shelter at junction between Queen's Road and Pedder Street were removed and refixed.

131. Street Name Plates:-A programme of fixing street name plates in the City and Outside City districts was carried out.

132. Training Nullah between Sing Woo and Blue Pool Roads:-This work was referred to in paragraph 133 of last year's Report. Nullah decking for a length of eighty-eight feet and a length of seventy-eight feet of 60" diameter culvert was constructed; parapet walling was subsequently built to that part of the nullah which required it.

133. Sewer Extension between Sing Woo and Blue Pool Roads:-This work was referred to in paragraph 135 of last year's Report. The 9" sewer only partially completed in these two roads was coupled up by laying a further 320 feet.

134. North Point Reclamation-Sewer Extension:-New sewers of 15" in diameter to a length of 177 feet and 12" to a length of 170 feet were constructed east of Tong Shui Road nullah. Progress was governed by the rate of dumping on the reclamation.

Boat Street-Storm Water Drain Extension:-A 54" storm water drain to a length of 400 feet was laid in conjunction with extensive alterations carried out for, and at the cost of The Hong Kong Electric Company, Ltd.
