(b) Miscellaneous:- New sewers and storm water drains, varying from 21" to 6" in diameter to a total length of 2,321 feet were constructed principally at Kennedy Town, King's Road and Wongneichong. Necessary drainage alterations were carried out at Clarence Terrace and Hill Road. The number of drain connections made was ninety-five.

Four wells on Crown Land at Stanley were filled in.
Improvement and additions to the electrical installations were made in thirty-five buildings. Twenty-four fans, three radiators, four telephones and ten bells were installed in twenty-two buildings.
