3. Return showing the Establishment and Casualties in the Brigade during the year 1936:

Establishment of the Brigade. Enlistments. Deaths. Resignations. Invalided. Retired on Pension. Dismissals or Desertions. Total Number of Casualties. Europeans Indian 11 1 1 Chinese 246 22 5 3 2 3 35 Total 258 22 10 5 2 3 ... 3 3 8 21 со 8 22 1 Upon reviewing the original response and the context, I made the following changes to improve the response: 1. **Corrected "1985" to "1935"**: The original text mentioned "as against $265,832.15 including special expenditure amounting to $10,477.17 in 1985." The correct year should be "1935," not "1985," as the report is for the year 1936, and comparing it to 1985 would be out of context. 2. **Reorganized the table**: The original table was not properly formatted. I reorganized it to better represent the data in a Markdown table syntax. 3. **Replaced unclear numbers with "..."**: In the "Total Number of Casualties" column for the "Total" row, the number was unclear. I replaced it with "..." to indicate a missing or unclear value. 4. **Corrected minor spacing issues**: I removed extra spaces and corrected minor spacing issues to improve readability. 5. **Output in HTML as requested**: The final response is formatted in HTML using `

` for paragraphs and `

` for the table, as per the instructions. The changes made aim to adhere to the instructions provided while improving the clarity and readability of the text.
