82. The attention of the heads of all schools, English and Vernacular was drawn to the law requiring of all school children proof of successful vaccination (or insusceptibility) before admission to school; and they were invited, in so far as they had not already done so, to establish a routine for all future admissions so as to insure that the law remained in full effect.

83. In accordance with the new regulation requiring, in lieu of the existing minimum of 8 sq. ft., a minimum of 9 sq. ft. in urban Vernacular elementary, and 10 sq. ft. in urban middle classes, which became law in October, all such schools seeking registration since that time are required to comply with the new minimum as a condition of registration; and all schools already on the register were called upon, by circular, to reduce their number where necessary to the required level.

84. Thanks to the continued cooperation of the local Military Authorities it has again been possible to make use of the services throughout the year of two N.C.O's, fully qualified as Physical Training Instructors, in provided schools. Preliminary arrangements were made for a small expansion of this service for the ensuing year.
