(b) No cemetery was closed during the year.

(vii) Premises Licensed or Admitted to Registration.-Table XIV shows the number of premises licensed or admitted to registration by the Sanitary Board.

(viii) Water Closets in Private Premises.-During the year the Board approved the installation of 2,121 water closets and 184 urinals in private premises. The number of water closets and urinals installed up to 31st December is shown in Table XV.

(ix) Abolition of the Sanitary Board. The Sanitary Board was abolished by Ordinance 7 of 1935 and will be replaced by an Urban Council as from 1st January, 1936.

13. GENERAL.

The form of the report has been slightly amended with the object of giving a clearer survey of the activities of the department.

A report by the Colonial Veterinary Surgeon is shown as an annexe.
