The whole of these surveys were carried out by tacheometrical methods from traverses which have their origins from main or subsidiary traverses in the vicinity. The level values were obtained from known values of Bench Marks.
17. A survey was made and plans prepared of the extension to Kowloon Cemetery No. 2 (mentioned in the previous survey report) showing it divided into 10 burial areas; area 14 acres. Surveys were made and plans prepared showing correct boundaries and encroachments of the following lots-Nos. 1336, 1337, 1339, 1340, 1341, 1345, 1346, 1347, 1348, 1349, 5607, 5608, 5652, 5653 and 5654, Survey District 1; Lots Nos. 371, 872, 373, 374, 376 and 380 at Lok Lo Ha; Lots Nos. 362, 368, 367, 361, 386 and 370 Demarcation District 91. Admiralty Lot No. 3 was surveyed and the boundaries defined, the area being 7.8 acres, the length of traverse 2,890 feet with a closing error of 1 in 20,000.
18. Plans were made of the whole of Admiralty property in Victoria.
19. Inland Lots Nos. 29 and 457 and Marine Lot No. 365 were surveyed and the boundaries defined for the purpose of attaching plans to a deed of agreement. The total area surveyed was 14 acres the length of traverse 5,783 feet and the closing linear error 1 in 8,000. The angular error was 40′′.
